  • 4 to 5 green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 jalapeño pepper
  • 1 cup sugar (adjustable)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 2 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Two 8-ounce packs cream cheese

Instructions

  1. Rinse the cranberries under cold water and remove any stems or damaged berries.
  2. In a food processor, combine cranberries, green onions, cilantro, jalapeño, sugar (start with less), cumin powder, lemon or lime juice, and salt. Pulse until finely chopped but not completely smooth.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl and add softened cream cheese. Use a spatula to mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours to enhance flavors.
  5. Serve chilled with an assortment of crackers.
